Honda Motor Company in Georgia, USA is seeking a skilled Equipment Service Technician to provide maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive care to meet production targets onsite.

You will diagnose equipment issues, perform repairs, mentor teammates, and support projects to improve uptime while following safety and environmental standards. Nights/weekends as needed may be required.

Formación

• Technical experience with asset management or industrial maintenance.
• Technical Associate Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical prints.

Responsabilidades

• Provide equipment availability through technical expertise, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance to achieve manufacturing production targets.
• Confirm equipment operates to and maintains compliance to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Support production team to achieve daily targets.
• Complete required preventive and planned maintenance per plan, utilizing CMMS to meet equipment quality and availability.
• Support projects to ensure the success of new model and business plan strategies to improve department characteristics.
• Understand equipment functionality to perform efficient repairs and recovery.
• Mentor and train team to grow technical skills and capabilities.

Pay Rate: $37.13 - $42.43/hour

About this Position:

Provide equipment availability through technical expertise, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance to achieve manufacturing production targets.

Responsibilities include:

• Confirm equipment operates to and maintains compliance to safety, quality, and environmental standards
• Support production team to achieve daily targets
• Successfully complete required preventive and planned maintenance per plan, utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management System to meet equipment quality and availability
• Support projects to ensure the success of new model and business plan strategies to improve department characteristics
• Understand equipment functionality and operational characteristics to perform an efficient equipment repair and/or recovery
• Utilize any and all available troubleshooting tool and resources to facilitate efficient equipment repair and/or recovery
• Develop capability of self and team by mentoring, training, and sharing of experience to ensure technical skill set growth
• Utilize basic root cause analysis logic to improve equipment availability and apply countermeasures to meet Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale, and Environment targets
• Maintain daily communication and reporting to ensure accurate transfer of information utilizing and accurately documenting activity in Computerized Maintenance Management System to capture labor time, resources applied (parts), conditions identified, and details of tasks performed
• Understand equipment safety specifications and maintain its integrity to ensure associate safety
• Complete scheduled work and training as assigned by Equipment Service Technician Coordinator and Manufacturing Equipment Service Department engineers to meet production and goals

Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:

• Technical experience with asset management or industrial maintenance

Required Education:

• Technical Associate Degree or equivalent experience preferred

Desired skills:

• Electrical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Be able to read electrical and mechanical prints
• Mechanical repair skills
• Use of electrical test meters
• Preventative maintenance completion
• Equipment uptime in assigned area
• Mean time to repair
