Job description

Travel required primarily in the San Diego area, with possible travel to Orange County and Inland Empire areas.

Minimum of a college or associate degree, preferably in engineering, laboratory technology, or with mechanical aptitude.

Experience with medical instruments or medical equipment, servicing lab equipment, and mechanical aptitude.

• Completes broad scope of technical tasks including installation/commissioning, maintenance and evaluation of customer equipment and systems among others.
• Determines priorities of tasks and actions and schedules measures accordingly.
• Supports customer remotely and onsite, providing 2nd and 3rd level user support in case of issues.
• Contributes to or conducts maintenance and improvement of internal tools, equipment, processes, and data repositories.
• Supports activities for estimation, planning, and review of technical tasks in project acquisition, negotiation, planning, and management.
• Adheres to relevant processes and regulations.
• May manage sub-contractors and monitor delivery.
• May be involved in technical design and development for service offerings.
