Job summary

American Honda Motor Company, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to support manufacturing equipment across production departments. Responsibilities include emergency downtime response, preventative maintenance, and project work on new equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a 2-year degree (Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial) or equivalent maintenance experience. Mechanical and electrical experience, plus robotics and PLC familiarity, are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two-year degree (Electrical / Mechanical / Industrial) or equivalent maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to equipment emergency downtime, root cause analysis and repair as needed.
• Support weekend preventative maintenance and repair activity.
• Support plant shutdown activity.
• Support new equipment installations and equipment modifications.
• Report problem causes and countermeasures.
• Document all equipment activity in the Maximo system.
• Daily reporting of downtime and equipment modifications.
• Attend shift meetings.
• Cross-functional support of plant / production department critical themes.
