Job summary

Honda is seeking a maintenance technician in Greensburg, Indiana to maintain department assets and support daily QCDMS targets. You will take ownership of tasks, participate in on-the-job learning, and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and 2–5 years of maintenance experience, with knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and robotics.

Qualifications

• Electrical and mechanical skills for maintaining industrial equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Experience with robotics and PLCs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily PDCA and root cause analysis to address downtime.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and equipment checks.
• Provide downtime support and rapid recovery decisions.
• Document activities in Maximo CMS with accuracy.
• Lead shift-start meetings and coordinate work orders.
• Maintain 5S and housekeeping in maintenance areas.
