C & B Operations in Miles City, MT, is hiring a John Deere Service Tech to diagnose, service, and repair agricultural equipment. You will work on customer and dealer-owned machines, maintain up-to-date knowledge of John Deere products, and promote service offerings to enhance safety and satisfaction. Training programs support on-the-job growth.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and accurate time/material documentation, with opportunities to advance within the company as you build experience.

Qualifications

• Associates or better in Diesel Technology or related field, preferred.
• Ability to meet physical demands required for tasks.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of methods and tools used in machinery repair.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Willingness to learn and train in new technologies.
• Ability to work overtime to meet customer demands.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.

Responsabilités

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on agricultural farm equipment.
• Participates in training programs for skill development.
• Completes job notes with work assignments.
• Accounts for time and materials on digital timecard.
• Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitors.
• Keeps workspace clean and organized.
• Maintains vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
• Promotes service department to customers with inspections and parts.
