Job summary

Restaurant Brands International, a leading quick service restaurant company, invites a facilities professional to join our team and oversee building repairs, vendor relations, and preventive maintenance for our restaurant network. You will develop capital plans, manage contracts, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence.

We seek 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in restaurant operations, with the ability to travel up to 50% and to communicate clearly

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Knowledge of facilities, vendor and negotiation management.
• Skilled in project management principles and techniques.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience; restaurant operations preferred.
• Travel up to 50% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Determine building repairs and vendors needed for efficient operations.
• Build relationships with restaurant leadership and vendors.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs for facilities and equipment.
• Negotiate contracts and manage service providers.
• Define scopes of work for repairs and installations.
• Review proposals and invoices for value and accuracy.
• Identify capital needs and prepare budget proposals.
• Place and track equipment orders.
• Contribute improvement ideas and support cross-functional initiatives.
• Support emergency and backup utility services.
• Perform general repair and maintenance of restaurant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for determine building repairs and vendors needed to have a efficient operating building
• Responsible for relationship building with above restaurant leadership and vendors
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs and schedules to maintain buildings, equipment, grounds, HVAC and restaurants support system
• Develops and maintains a network of quality local and/or regional service providers; negotiates, reviews, and executes contracts
• Defines and prepares specific scopes of work for all ongoing building repairs, improvements, and equipment installation
• Reviews proposals, contracts, and invoices to ensure overall accuracy and value
• Identifies current and future capital needs as well as develops capital investment strategies and budget proposals
• Places and tracks equipment orders
• Provide continuous improvement ideas and implements them appropriately
• Partners with cross functional department initiatives and supports brand research initiatives
• Supports all types of emergency situations including damage assessments, recovery response, emergency service, and backup utility services
• General repair and maintenance of restaurant equipment

Qualifications & Skills
