Job summary

TRS Craft Services has an immediate opening for an Equipment Service Technician based out of our client's facility in Prairieville, Louisiana. The role involves inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on a range of industrial equipment in shop and field settings.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related equipment repair experience or equivalent education/experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, technical drawings, and blueprints
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Perform major repairs and preventative maintenance on customer-owned and company-owned equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues
• Complete work orders, parts requests, billing documentation, and warranty paperwork
• Communicate with customers regarding equipment status, repairs, and service recommendations
• Assist other technicians with advanced troubleshooting and technical support
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and service vehicle
• Follow all company and client safety, environmental, and operational procedures
• Plan and organize work assignments with minimal supervision
• Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Pay: Starting at $25+ per hour (DOE)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, with overtime opportunities

This position is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on a variety of industrial and construction equipment in both shop and field environments. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent troubleshooting skills, and experience working independently while delivering exceptional customer service.

Equipment Serviced

• Aerial lifts
• Forklifts
• Compressors
• Generators
• Welding machines
• General industrial and construction equipment

Responsibilities

• Perform major repairs and preventative maintenance on customer-owned and company-owned equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues
