Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Service and Repair Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair rental equipment. The role supports both shop-based and limited field service activities, ensuring equipment is ready to rent and compliant with safety standards.

You will collaborate with branch leadership to prioritize repairs based on fleet demand. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of equipment service experience, a valid driver’s license, and OSHA 10 certification.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of experience in equipment service, repair, or related mechanical field.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel-powered rental equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Performs preventive maintenance and follows OEM service schedules.
• Generates, updates, and closes work orders with diagnostics, labor, parts usage, and repair outcomes.
