Live Events, a national live event production company with hubs in Atlanta, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Orlando, seeks an Equipment Sales Manager to quote, sell and deliver production gear to venues, houses of worship, schools and corporate AV teams.

You will collaborate with rental account executives, operations and purchasing to ensure accurate quotes, on-time delivery and profitable orders, while building relationships with manufacturers to secure pricing and leads. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years selling production equipment at a dealer, distributor, manufacturer or rental company.
• Knowledge of entertainment lighting, audio and video products.
• Ability to read spec sheets and discuss applications.
• Track record of meeting sales or gross-profit targets.
• Comfort with CRM and ERP systems and Excel.

Aufgaben

• Quote and sell lighting, audio, video, control, rigging hardware, and expendables to venues, houses of worship, schools, corporate AV teams and production companies.
• Turn incoming requests from AEs, the website, manufacturers and existing clients into accurate quotes, typically within one business day.
• Price within category margin guidelines and get approval before going below them.
• Sell retired rental inventory in coordination with the Asset team.
• Source product from manufacturers and distributors, issue POs and drop-ship orders, and track delivery through to the customer.
• Maintain the pipeline, quotes and orders in our CRM and ERP, and report weekly on pipeline, gross profit and open orders.
• Follow up on open quotes and help Accounting collect on sales orders when needed.
• Assist with receiving and shipping orders as necessary.
• Build relationships with manufacturer territory managers to secure dealer pricing, demo gear and leads.
