The Equipment Repair Technician (Ancillary Equipment Technician - AET) is responsible for the preventative maintenance, service, repair and testing of Light Plants, Power Swivels, Tong’s, Hydraulic Pumps, Generator’s, etc.

  • FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
  • Job Status: Full-time
  • Amount of Travel Required: 30%
  • Reports to: Ancillary Equipment Manager
  • Direct Reports: None
  • Work Schedule: Typically, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. However, due to the nature of the business, hours may be long and irregular. Weekend and evening hours may be necessary on occasion (on call every other weekend might be expected)
  • Compensation: $22.00 - $31.97/hour, depending on experience

Duties
  • Servicing all Ancillary Equipment that falls into the department.
  • Perform and document all pressure tests for these components after service.
  • Obtain and maintain an inventory of consumable materials and parts for these items.
  • Organize and maintain the facility including the testing station and Tong cage.
  • Assist field personnel with job-related problems associated with these components.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Abilities
  • Education: High school diploma or GED
  • Experience: 0+ years working with or around ancillary equipment servicing or related job experience; previous experience preferred.
  • Ideal candidates will be mechanically inclined, self-motivating individuals with prior order desk and consumable materials management experience.
  • Other Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license, meet minimum driving standards for company insurance purposes, and successfully pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen and physical.
