Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is hiring an Equipment Repair Technician for its Abilene, TX shop. The role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing welding equipment and systems, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring safe, reliable operation for customers and the team.

The ideal candidate will repair manual, robotic, and various welding processes, read schematics and wire diagrams, and maintain a clean, organized shop environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver License with clean MVR.
• Electrical schematics experience required.
• Ability to troubleshoot and read wire diagrams.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanically inclined and hands-on problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair welding equipment and systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and replace defective parts.
• Inspect equipment and validate proper operation before returning to service.
• Coordinate stock of parts and manage shop inventory.
• Occasionally support off-site customers as needed.

While ensuring a safe and supportive work environment.
