Job summary

Thompson Tractor Company in Georgia seeks a Rental Coordinator to manage equipment rentals, track inventory, and coordinate inspections and transportation with the Service and Accounting departments.

You will communicate rates and terms to customers and sales staff, obtain credit approvals, ensure proper paperwork, and help resolve customer issues with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in the material handling industry is a plus.
• Proficient with PCs and basic typing.

Responsibilities

• Track inventory of machines, batteries, and attachments.
• Coordinate inspections and prep prior to delivery and upon return.
• Communicate rental rates, availability, and terms to customers and reps.
• Obtain credit approval before processing rentals.
• Ensure all required documents are completed and signed.
• Set up rental agreements and update the computer system.
• Submit paperwork to Accounting promptly.
• Arrange inbound and outbound transportation for equipment.
• Monitor repairs and maintenance expenses.
• Ensure billing and credit adjustments are processed accurately and promptly.
• Negotiate fair resolutions for customer complaints.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
