Job summary

U-Haul Co. of South Carolina is seeking a Customer Service Representative at our Augusta location. You will be the friendly face helping customers with U-Haul products, using U-Scan tech to manage rentals and inventory, and assisting with hitch installations and equipment checks.

The role includes on-the-job education and opportunities to grow within the company. You will work with a supportive team to ensure customers get help on their journeys, with responsibilities spanning rental processing,

Qualifications

• Customer-facing interaction skills and the ability to assist customers with items and services.
• Strong communication and listening abilities to understand customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot and check fluids.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Complete other duties and participate in U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
