Job summary

BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) is seeking an Equipment Reliability Leader in Sumter, SC to drive asset reliability and cost optimization. You will lead reliability engineers, controls and vision technicians, coordinating with PM and Product Line teams to develop optimal maintenance plans and reduce costly breakdowns.

Ten years of manufacturing experience, plus five years of supervisory leadership, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 10 years of manufacturing experience in a highly automated environment required.
• Proven leadership with 5 years of supervisory experience.
• 5 years of experience applying reliability tools and RCM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement reliability centered maintenance strategy and lead reliability team.
• Define site maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods within budget.
• Diagnose complex breakdowns and coach teams in root-cause analysis.
• Ensure documentation, manuals, and maintenance plans are up to date.
• Monitor MTTR, MTBF, failure trends and costs to identify priorities.
• Coordinate CBM tool implementation and drive continuous improvement.
