Job summary

Evonik seeks a Manager for the Equipment Reliability Center of Excellence in Mobile, AL to lead the regional Reliability Excellence Team and drive best-in-class maintenance across the Americas. You will coordinate with site leaders to improve equipment availability and operational efficiency while directing reliability initiatives and cross-functional improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering required.
• Advanced degree, certification, or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of general industrial management experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in maintenance or reliability engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Americas Region Reliability Excellence Team and improve equipment reliability and maintenance performance.
• Incorporate industry and Evonik standards into regional practices and standards.
• Develop relationships with technical decision-makers to support site availability and efficiency.
• Initiate and manage reliability and maintenance improvement projects with cross-functional teams.
• Provide a primary contact for equipment reliability topics across regional sites.
