Job summary

RaceTrac, a leading convenience retailer, is seeking an Equipment Specialist – Store Support to assist In-House Maintenance Technicians and vendors with parts and equipment ordering. You will source parts, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely communication to keep store equipment operational.

You’ll provide quotes, purchase orders, and help onboard new specialists, while producing regular reports to support store operations. Strong Excel and Workday experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• 1+ years’ experience in equipment purchasing or another buyer role.
• Experience managing vendor relationships.
• Knowledge of Workday Inventory or other inventory platforms.
• Knowledge of Service Channel or other ticketing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Purchase equipment and follow up on orders for store operations.
• Add items to the warehouse through Workday.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate pricing on parts and equipment.
• Provide quotes and purchase orders for work orders and follow up to ensure the invoice is paid.
• Maintain relationships with internal departments including Store Support and Operations.
• Produce and monitor reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Assist in the onboarding of new hire specialists as needed.
