Job summary

A leading materials engineering company in Biddeford, Maine is seeking a hands-on Product Equipment Engineer to join their Advanced Materials group. This role involves overseeing the installation and operation of advanced manufacturing equipment in a state-of-the-art Innovation Center. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment and must demonstrate expertise in carbon and ceramic composite materials with strong problem-solving and communication skills. The position includes valuable benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and a $1000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with a BS or 3 with an MS.
• Familiarity with manufacturing methods for advanced high temperature carbon and/or ceramic matrix composite materials.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Facilities, Manufacturing Engineering, EHS, Security, and IT for new R&T equipment ownership.
• Represent the R&T department during equipment selection and commissioning process.
• Collaborate to translate lab-scale processes into scalable manufacturing equipment designs.
