JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

WORK SHIFT: Variable shifts, rotating weekends and holidays

JOB SUMMARY

• Cleans, disassembles and re-assembles, troubleshoots, restocks, packages, inventories, collects and distributes equipment in the hospital and other satellite areas.
• Responsible for safe handling and care of equipment, and supplies.
• Responsible for handling all equipment logs in data and inventory.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Evidence of past demonstration of good communication skills, human relations, decision making and interpersonal skills.
• Experience preferred.

Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting at least 30 pounds is required. Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise. Physical Effort required: Constant (67%-100%) – handling/feeling, talking, hearing, seeing Frequently (34%-66%) - lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, stooping, reaching Occasionally (1%-33%) - climbing (stairs, ladders, etc.), balancing, crouching
