Job summary

FASTSIGNS Parker/Castle Rock is seeking an Equipment and Print Operator to create and assemble sign and graphic products in a dynamic, fast-paced center. You will work with large-format printers, laminators, and cutters to produce high-quality visuals for local businesses.

The ideal candidate has experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; ONYX Graphics knowledge is a plus. This role requires attention to detail, ability to output production plans, and willingness to participate in training

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Integrity and a strong work ethic are valued.
• Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers and fractions).
• Able to work well under pressure to output high volume, high quality work.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 50 or more pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in other areas of production when all machines are running.
• Understand color profiles and color management.
• Output the best production method and help identify opportunities to improve.
• Performs quality assurance measures pre- and post-production.
• Performs finishing operations such as laminating, encapsulating, and/or mounting of printed pieces.
• Reports inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the center manager/production manager or franchise partner.
• Helps unload raw materials and cleans and maintains different areas.
• Works on different projects simultaneously.
• Performs routine machine maintenance and minor repairs when necessary.
• Establishes and maintains effective team relationships with all support departments.
• Follows all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.

Creative work is performed within our FASTSIGNS Center sign production area that is fully equipped with top-of-the-line sign-making equipment. The ideal candidate has plotter, laminator, large-format, flatbed printer and cutter experience.

This candidate is self-motivated, with problem-solving skills who pays very close attention to accuracy and detail. Comprehensive training in all aspects of this position will be provided.

• Able to work well under pressure to output high volume, high quality work
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to lift 50 or more pounds
• Must have the flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back forth hand motions to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate
• Able to use light power equipment
