Position Summary

C.R. Jackson, Inc. is seeking a motivated and dependable Equipment Operator to support our heavy highway, site development, and paving operations across South Carolina. In this role, you will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the high standards our teams expect. You’ll work alongside a supportive team that values safety, accountability, and doing the job right. What You’ll Do

• Operate heavy equipment such as wideners, broom tractor, backhoe, or skid steer.

• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods as needed
• Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb in and out of equipment safely
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise)
• Ability to walk on uneven terrain and active job sites
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and equipment for safety
