Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience operating heavy equipment in construction or related field preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Mechanical awareness and respect for equipment.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
• Willingness to work overtime, nights, or weekends as required.
• Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, dozers, rollers, or similar machinery.
• Perform pre- and post-shift inspections to ensure equipment is safe and job-ready.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and assist with basic preventative maintenance.
• Work closely with crew members and supervisors to keep operations running efficiently.
• Support grading, excavation, paving, and site development activities as needed.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings, including personnel, equipment, and traffic.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do :

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods as needed
• Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb in and out of equipment safely
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise)
• Ability to walk on uneven terrain and active job sites
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and equipment for safety
