City and County of Honolulu seeks an Equipment Operator Trainer based in Kapolei to plan, develop, and deliver certified training on heavy construction equipment maintenance and operation. The role also maintains records and certifies trainees for specific equipment.
Responsibilities include organizing training timetables, conducting classroom and hands-on sessions, coordinating with supervisors for trainees and facilities, and updating programs as needed. Some civil defense duties may apply.
The Department of Facility Maintenance (DFM), Chief Engineer's Office is seeking to fill an Equipment Operator Trainer position based in Kapolei. Under the general direction of the Driver Improvement Coordinator II, this position plans, develops, organizes, maintains records, and conducts certified training program in heavy construction equipment maintenance and operation, and special and new equipment certification program for the Department and other City agencies.
Actual salary will be commensurate with applicable experience, pending approval.
