The Department of Facility Maintenance (DFM), Chief Engineer's Office is seeking to fill an Equipment Operator Trainer position based in Kapolei. Under the general direction of the Driver Improvement Coordinator II, this position plans, develops, organizes, maintains records, and conducts a certified training program in heavy construction equipment maintenance and operation, and a special and new equipment certification program for the Department and other City agencies.

Equivalent to graduation from high school. Responsible work experience demonstrating the ability to perform the essential functions of the job may be substituted for education.
Possession of a valid Hawaii State driver’s license reflecting the appropriate commercial driver’s license (CDL) with proper endorsements, as applicable; a current State Department of Transportation (DOT) medical examination certificate; and a current Certificate of Fitness for Crane and Hoist Operator.
