Job summary

Harford County, Maryland is seeking an Equipment Operator Trainee in Bel Air to learn and operate light construction equipment under supervision. Training leads to certification and progression to Equipment Operator.

You will perform basic servicing and assist with routine maintenance to ensure maximum performance. Position includes snow removal responsibilities, 24/7 on-call during emergencies, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required at hire.
• Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license with minimal demerits.
• Basic equipment operation experience preferred; willingness to learn.
• Ability to pass safety and operator training exams.

Responsibilities

• Operate construction equipment under supervision.
• Perform routine service and minor maintenance on equipment.
• Assist with snow removal and on-call duties during emergencies.
• Follow safety rules and standard operating procedures.
