Job summary

Lumin8 Transportation Technologies is seeking an Equipment Operator in Linthicum, MD for a full-time hourly role. You will operate hydro-vac trucks, bucket trucks, cranes, and other heavy equipment on transportation infrastructure projects, with competitive benefits and a discretionary bonus.

Qualified candidates have a CDL Class A, 3+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to read plans and work in varying weather.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years combined experience as a Groundsman / Laborer and Equipment Operator I.
• Must possess CDL Class A.
• Must be proficient with basic hand tools and power tools.
• Must be proficient at traffic signal wiring and MDOT standards.
• Must read plans and survey stakes; understand schematics.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work in all weather conditions and at heights.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of construction equipment at job sites.
• Inspect and maintain equipment; report needed repairs.
• Install and repair traffic signal systems and highway lighting.
• Load and unload equipment; transport to sites.
• Assist supervision and train subordinate staff.
• Complete project paperwork and follow safety requirements.
