Shift: Third Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 11pm-7am
The primary duties include operating various types of equipment such as trucks, tandem vehicles, large rubber tire end loaders, street sweepers, snow blowers for front-end loaders, Dickey John salt spreading systems, and refuse or recycling packers. Additional responsibilities involve assisting in snow removal, salt and sanding operations, performing manual labor related to equipment operation in construction, maintenance, and service activities, as well as keeping work records and compiling reports.
This role supports construction, maintenance, and service activities for which the department is responsible.

This position requires emotional intelligence, a strong work ethic, accountability, and initiative to perform duties effectively.
Must possess the physical ability to perform duties including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, sitting, climbing, twisting, stooping, crawling, stretching, squatting, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and entering/exiting City trucks and equipment.
Capable of performing light to heavy manual labor for extended periods, depending on assigned tasks. Employees must withstand exposure to variable weather conditions, odors, toxic agents, noise, vibrations, electrical currents, vehicular traffic, and dust.
