Monster Tree Service of St. Louis is hiring a Stump Grinder / Equipment Operator to join our franchise. You will prepare, maintain, and safely operate all tools and equipment, including a chainsaw, Avant loader, chippers, and stump grinder, while assisting the ground crew on job sites.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment in tree care is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL is a plus.
• Ability to work on a crew and follow safety guidelines.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and safely operate all tools and equipment including hand tools, chainsaws, Avant loader, chippers, and stump grinder.
• Operate equipment as assigned.
• Assist ground crew with set up and clean up tasks on job site.
• Safeguard employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area, staying in frequent voice communication with workers aloft. Participate in weekly safety meetings and daily job briefings.
• Ensure excellent customer service.
• Valid Driver’s License required, CDL helpful.
• Prior experience with operating Chipper, Mini Loader, Stump Grinder, and other equipment.
• Experience in Tree Care desired.
• Clean driving record.
• Willingness to assist the ground crew.
