Monster Tree Service of St. Louis is seeking a Stump Grinder / Equipment Operator to join our growing team. The role involves safely operating a stump grinder, chipper, and other site equipment while supporting ground crews on tree care projects.

Qualified candidates will hold a valid driver’s license (CDL helpful) and have prior experience with stump grinders and related equipment. Competitive wages and year-round employment are offered in a dynamic, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License required; CDL Helpful.
• Experience operating chipper, mini loader, stump grinder, and other equipment.
• Experience in Tree Care desired.
• Clean Driving record.
• Willingness to assist the ground crew.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and safely operate all tools and equipment including hand tools, chainsaws, Avant loader, chippers, and stump grinder.
• Operate equipment as assigned.
• Assist ground crew with set up and clean up tasks on job site.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area, staying in frequent voice communication with workers aloft. Participates in weekly safety meetings and daily job briefings.
• Ensure excellent customer service.
