Job summary

Pratt Industries in Atlanta, GA is seeking a reliable material handler to load materials onto lines and trailers, and to perform daily equipment inspections. You will ensure quality checks, maintain clean work areas and follow safety regulations at all times.

The role requires basic education, six months’ machinery experience, and a team-oriented attitude with strong problem-solving and time-management skills. Night/weekend shifts may be required according to production needs.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Minimum six months experience operating machinery.
• Ability to follow directions and complete tasks safely.
• Professional attitude and conduct.
• Multi-tasking, interpersonal communication, problem solving and time management.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to policies.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends when required.
• Team player with flexibility and cooperation.
• Minimum age 18 and ability to pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment in accordance with O&M manual.
• Check material quality and conformity on incoming/outgoing goods.
• Transport material to designated storage areas safely.
• Load material onto lines and trailers safely.
• Keep material stacked neatly and maintain general housekeeping.
• Check oil and fluids daily and perform equipment inspections.
• Follow all company safety regulations and procedures.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
