Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.

Job: Equipment Operator/Public Works Maintenance

The Town of Rockvale is seeking a dependable, hardworking Equipment Operator / Public Works Maintenance employee to assist with the operation, maintenance, and improvement of town infrastructure. This is a part-time/full-time position with the opportunity to transition into a full-time career position based on performance, water certifications, and operational needs.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on outdoor work, operating equipment, and serving a small community.

Position Summary

The Equipment Operator performs a variety of public works duties including operation of light and medium equipment, some road and facility maintenance, water system support, occasional snow removal, mowing/weedeating, and general municipal maintenance tasks.

Employees who obtain Colorado water certification (no wastewater) and demonstrate strong performance may qualify for increased pay, additional responsibilities, and advancement opportunities within the Town.
