Job summary

Fabcon Precast in Grandville, MI is seeking an Equipment Operator for the 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 10pm start) to safely operate overhead crane and support production lines.

You will move materials, communicate across teams, and help keep scrap disposal and safety standards. Prior experience in heavy manufacturing is preferred, and overtime may be required to meet production schedules.

We are looking for an Equipment Operator to join our team. Responsibilities include:

• Safe operation of machinery on a daily basis
• Delivering materials of various size and weight to the Production lines to supply them on a daily basis. (Wet concrete, fabricated steel, etc.)
• Maintain consistent communication between other operators and production crews throughout the day in order to provide exceptional service
• Properly dispose of scrap materials throughout the day

Preferred Qualifications Include:

• Equipment operation experience in a Heavy Manufacturing setting
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to operate machinery safely
• Ability to work overtime when required

Physical Requirements:

Move minimum of 50lbs., spatial awareness/depth perception, walk, climb, bend at the waist, reach, forceful use of hand tools, vocal projection

Typical industrial hazard varying climates, dust, noise and moving machinery.
