Job summary

Arhaus is seeking an Equipment Operator for the distribution center to operate reach trucks/high-level pickers, move and count merchandise, and ensure inventory accuracy using RF devices.

The role runs on the night shift, Monday through Thursday, 5:30PM to 4:00AM, with a starting wage of $21.50/hr plus a $2.00/hr night shift premium. This is a full-time position with standard benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 150 lbs with or without accommodations.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience operating order picker, cherry picker, reach truck, tow motor, or rider pallet jack.
• Ability to operate equipment up to 35 ft high.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Working knowledge of computer programs.
• Understanding of general distribution/warehousing processes (order picking, packing, shipping/receiving).

Responsibilities

• Pick and put away merchandise using power mobile equipment (cherry picker, reach truck, high-level picker).
• Use RF gun to select orders and direct put-away based on system.
• Retrieve items for delivery/picking and staging in assigned areas.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by moving products via RF transactions.
• Ensure merchandise integrity during movement from rack to dock.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently per company standards.

The Equipment Operator is accountable for exercising care and precision in moving Arhaus products.

The reach truck / high-level stock picker is responsible for operating equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The Equipment Operator is accountable for exercising care and precision in moving Arhaus products.

Night Shift Schedule:

• Monday - Thursday, 5:30PM to 4:00AM

Responsibilities:

• Pick and put away - Operate power mobile material handling equipment (cherry picker/reach truck/high-level picker)
• Use RF gun to select orders and put away product based on system directed order types
• Retrieve all items for delivery / picking and staging inventory accurately in assigned areas
• Inventory - Maintain inventory accuracy levels by moving all product via RF transactions
• Package - Responsible for the integrity of the merchandise in movement from rack to dock damage free
• Safety- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner based on company safety standards

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift 150lbs with or without accommodations
• High school diploma/GED
• 1 - 2 years of experience operating an order picker, cherry picker, reach truck, sit down tow motor, or rider pallet jack
• The ability to operate equipment at a height potential of 35 ft.
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Working knowledge of computer programs
• Understanding of general work practices in distribution and/or warehousing, including order picking, packing, and shipping/receiving processes and procedures
