The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking an Equipment Operator to run Jarraff, Skid Steer and Side Trimmer on utility right‑of‑way in Kalkaska, MI. CDL A/B preferred but not required; valid license is a must.

You’ll join a safety‑driven crew responsible for efficient, secure tree removal work on challenging sites. This permanent on‑site role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within our line clearance operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years mobile equipment operating experience.
• Experience in Utility Line Clearance and Tree Removal preferred.
• Be capable of successfully passing a mobile equipment operations certification test.
• Valid driver's license required.
• CDL Class A or B with air brake endorsement highly valuable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Jarraff, Skid Steer, Side Trimmer on utility right-of-way.
• Ensure equipment and crew safety when removing trees on utility right-of-way.
• Assist in all job functions as a crew member.
