Pittsburgh Public Schools is seeking an Equipment Operator/Storekeeper to manage deliveries, stockroom operations, and shipments. The role involves loading/unloading, maintaining inventory, and coordinating with multiple departments to support school operations.

Qualified candidates hold a Pennsylvania driver’s license, can lift heavy materials, and have experience operating district trucks. This is an on-site position supporting schools citywide.

Qualifications

• Valid Pennsylvania state motor vehicle operator’s license.
• Minimum one year experience operating large school district trucks.
• Knowledge of stockroom operations and safety practices.
• Ability to lift 50–80 lbs frequently and occasionally more.

Responsabilités

• Researches pricing, orders, and receives materials.
• Receives shipments and checks contents and price.
• Unloads and loads trucks using appropriate lifting equipment.
• Sorts and stores incoming parts and supplies.
• Maintains stockroom organization and inventory records.
• Communicates with departments to fulfill parts requests.
• Maintains EPA-related MSDS records and safety procedures.
• Coordinates with shop and schools for deliveries and pickups.
