**COMMUNICATION REGARDING TEST INFORMATION WILL BE SENT VIA EMAIL & TEXT**

PURPOSE AND NATURE OF WORK

Work of this class involves the operation of a Backhoe and Tandem Dump Truck and related equipment used in the Traffic, Roads and Bridges Department.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

Completion of the eighth grade and experience in the operation of automotive and construction equipment similar to those described herein; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT

Possession of the appropriate class commercial driver’s license and endorsements as issued by the State of Louisiana. Applicants must have at least a valid Commercial Driver’s License or CDL permit to apply and test, but must obtain a Louisiana class A CDL with air brake and combination endorsements, prior to hire.

TYPE OF EXAMINATION: Performance test will be operating a Backhoe and Tandem Dump Truck.
