Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 30 credit hours of vocational training for the maintenance and operation of medium duty gas or diesel powered equipment.
• One year of construction equipment operation and maintenance experience is required.
• Additional requirements include licenses, permits, and security checks as applicable for Aviation assignments.

Responsibilities

• Operate a range of medium duty, construction and maintenance equipment such as graders, loaders, dump trucks and rollers.
• Grade roads using motor grader and roll asphalt.
• Load waste from job sites onto trucks and transport to designated locations.
• Clean and maintain work areas, ditches, culverts, and debris disposal sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on equipment as needed.
• Identify equipment needs for each project and transport gear between sites.
