Job summary

HPC Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking an Equipment Operator II to support safety-focused operations across service lines at customer sites.

You will operate hydroblasting and related equipment, supervise a crew of vacuum technicians, and ensure compliance with safety policies while on-site. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork within a dynamic field environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum safety training and on-the-job training.
• English proficiency to understand safety training and respond to instructions in emergencies.
• Valid driver’s license and driving policy requirements for company vehicles.
• Knowledge of emergency equipment such as fire extinguishers.
• Smartphone required for Electronic Logging Device (ELD).
• Experience operating wet and dry vacuums.

Responsibilities

• Act as safety representative for company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Operate manual and automated hydroblasting equipment when required.
• Operate equipment such as Ultra High-Pressure pumps and vacuum trucks.
• Transport equipment and personnel to customer locations and supervise a crew of vacuum technicians.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and comply with DOT requirements.
• Provide general maintenance on field equipment.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
