Yusen Logistics (Americas) Inc. in Edison, NJ is seeking an Equipment Operator II to receive, store, ship, and transport warehoused goods, performing duties per the warehouse workflow.

The role requires operating stand-up and turret forklifts, loading/unloading, and using RF equipment; candidates should have forklift experience and a valid certificate, with a strong commitment to safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 2 years of forklift experience required.
• Forklift certificate required.
• Proven experience operating stand-up and turret forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Read, comprehend and act on verbal and written information; HS diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Stand-Up Forklifts and Turret Forklifts to handle materials and transport them to and from various locations within the warehouse.
• Safely load and unload materials onto and off of pallets, platforms, racks, and shelves using forklifts.
• Willing and able to perform all duties of Material Handler I as required
• Primary Responsibilities (60 % or more time in one or more of the following):
• Operates motorized equipment, including forklift, clamp, cherry-pickers, pallet jack, etc.
• Utilizes RF equipment to track product
• Disassembles, reassembles, or repairs products, materials or equipment
• Sorts, bales, weighs, loads, and recycles materials based on customer specifications

Overview

Salary Range: $40,492-$60,625

Receives, stores, recycles, ships, and transports warehoused goods and products by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate Stand-Up Forklifts and Turret Forklifts to handle materials and transport them to and from various locations within the warehouse.
• Safely load and unload materials onto and off of pallets, platforms, racks, and shelves using forklifts.
• Willing and able to perform all duties of Material Handler I as required
• Primary Responsibilities (60 % or more time in one or more of the following):

• Utilizes RF (Radio Frequency) equipment to track product
• Disassembles, reassembles, or repairs products, materials or equipment

Qualifications

• 2 years of Forklift experience required
• Forklift Certificate Required
• Proven experience operating Stand-Up Forklifts and Turret Forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment.

• Sufficient formal education to read, comprehend, and act upon verbal and written information. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and/or six months related experience preferred.
