Circular Services is seeking an Equipment Operator I for full-time work in Sarasota, FL. The role involves safely operating heavy equipment to support compost production and related processes, with a shift pattern Monday–Friday and rotating Saturdays. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and OSHA training. Prior heavy equipment experience and a willingness to learn are preferred.

• Safely and effectively operate heavy equipment to move products and feed shredders, grinders, and screens.
• Upload daily production reports.
• Safely load product onto roll-off containers or walking floor trailers.
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Observe and comply with safety regulations, rules, and procedures.
• Report safety concerns or hazards to leadership onsite.
• Collaborate with drivers, operators and coworkers.
• Participate in training to improve skills and service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About the Role:

The Heavy Equipment Operator will safely operate heavy equipment, such as loaders and trucks, to manufacture compost and other soil amendments.

Shift: M-F 7AM-5:30PM and rotating Saturdays 7AM-3PM (Job Type: Full-time) | Location: Sarasota, FL

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

Normal work environment is outdoors, with exposure to all weather conditions, dirt, high levels of noise, smells/odors and at times exposure to dangerous and/or toxic substances requiring necessary precautions, including PPE.
