Job summary

Yusen Logistics (Americas) Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator l-Cycle counter to support warehousing operations in Louisville, KY. The role involves operating motorized equipment, cycle counting, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Safety sensitivity is noted for this position and adherence to company policies is required. Responsibilities include using RF scanners, handling recyclable materials, and performing basic repairs or disassembly when needed.

Qualifications

• Reading and comprehension of verbal and written information is required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred and/or six months related experience.
• Demonstrates integrity and ethical conduct in workplace.
• Follows YLA core competencies: problem solving, decision making, accountability, communication, teamwork, and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Operate motorized equipment such as forklift, clamp, cherry-pickers, and pallet jack.
• Use RF equipment to track product and manage inventory.
• Disassemble, reassemble, or repair products, materials or equipment.
• Sort, bale, weigh, load, and recycle materials per customer specifications.
• Conduct daily cycle counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Research inventory discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Perform duties of Machine Operator l-Cycle counter as required.

Overview

This is a safety sensitive position.

Receives, stores, recycles, ships, and transports warehoused goods and products by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

• Willing and able to perform all duties of Material Handler B as required
• Primary Responsibilities (60 % or more time in one or more of the following):
• Operates motorized equipment, including, but not limited to forklift, clamp, (see required certifications), cherry-pickers, motorized pallet jack, etc.
• Utilizes RF (Radio Frequency) equipment to track product
• Disassembles, reassembles, or repairs products, materials or equipment
• Sorts, bales, weighs, loads, and recycles materials based on customer specifications
• conducting daily cycle counts
• researching inventory discrepancies
• Machine Operator l-Cycle counter

• Sufficient formal education to read, comprehend, and act upon verbal and written information. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and/or six months related experience preferred.
