Job summary

Eastman Chemical Company in Kingsport, TN is seeking an Equipment Operator (Heavy Duty Trucking) to transport materials within and beyond the plant. You will operate tractor trailers and dumpster trucks, using the dispatch system to support relief shifts.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL (hazard materials preferred), DOT medical certification, and proficiency with Outlook/Excel/Word. Overtime and a strong work ethic are essential in this position.

Qualifications

• Must have current Class A CDL. Hazard Materials Certification preferred.
• Must be able to obtain Eastman DOT Medical Examiner Certification.
• Familiar with basic computer functions: email and data entry using Outlook, Excel, Word.
• Must perform safety procedures and wear PPE as required.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
• Strong work ethic and professional attitude, initiative.
• Able to perform essential elements with or without accommodations.
• WorkKeys assessments preferred; scores required for OAP or MAP.

Job Description:

Educational / Additional Requirements:
