Job summary

Honor Services is seeking a Heavy Duty Equipment Operator in Missouri to handle bulldozers and excavators for grading to spec. The role requires GPS machine control and laser leveling with blueprints in civil construction environments.

The candidate will perform daily inspections, equipment maintenance, and work as part of a crew on heavy highway and industrial projects, ensuring safety and productivity on site.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

Heavy Duty Equipment Operators should have a minimum of three years of experience in the seat of bull dozers & excavators. A Heavy Duty Equipment Operator will be able to provide rough and finish grades with bulldozers & similar equipment along with excavator experience providing underground trenching for water and sewer installations. Qualified candidates will also have experience in setting and establishing grades using rotating lasers and GPS systems including machine control.

• ExperienceworkingonandperformingdailyinspectionsandmaintenanceonavarietyofExcavators,Dozers,Front-EndLoaders,Packers,andtoolsnecessaryintheassistanceofthejob.
• Performspreandpostinspectionsandperformsminormaintenanceoftheequipment.
• Performsassignmentsasdirectedorasresponsibilitiesnecessitate.
• Beateamplayer,withawillingnesstoassistinavarietyofrolesonthesite.
• Performsgenerallabordutieswhennecessary,involvingstrenuousmanuallaborinheavyconstructionprojects.
• Maintainsacleanjobsite;picksupalltoolsandequipmentandsecuresjobsiteeachdaytoeliminatepotentialhazards.
• Ensuresthatpropersafetyandincidentreportingproceduresarefollowed.Bringsproblemstotheattentionoftheforeman,safetydirectororHRmanager.
