Job summary

CMC is seeking a hands-on team member in Chattanooga to support production operations in our recycling and manufacturing facilities. You will help operate production equipment, maintain a clean work area, and uphold safety standards across the site.

We value teamwork, reliability, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A forklift/skid steer/loader background is a plus, and a high school diploma or GED is required. Training and career advancement are provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Able to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Minimum 1 year experience in either recycling and/or manufacturing environment preferred
• Prior forklift, skid steer, loader or similar equipment experience
• Prior knowledge of metal identification is a plus
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows safety regulations
• Operates production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture
• Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor
