Job summary

Bennett Paving & Construction Inc is seeking reliable team members to support excavation, grading, and asphalt paving across Utah. Positive attitude, willingness to learn, valid driver’s license, and transportation to job sites are required; company truck provided.

Experience appreciated but not required; training offered. Typical hours are Monday–Friday 7:00–5:00 with occasional Saturdays; weekly pay; rate $26–$34 per hour based on experience, plus overtime, vacation, holidays, and potential

Qualifications

2+ years of equipment operating experience preferred
Ability to fine-grade and operate with precision
Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
Strong understanding of construction site safety
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, and rollers
Perform excavation, grading, and site prep for paving projects
Assist with asphalt paving operations and material placement
Read grade stakes and site plans and follow layout instructions
Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
Follow safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
Work with crew to complete jobs efficiently and on schedule
Assist with general labor tasks when needed
