Job summary

Taylor Corporation in North Mankato, MN is seeking an Equipment Operator to run packaging, bindery and print production equipment. The role includes read and set up, adjustments, and following safety guidelines. The shift is Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, with a competitive hourly range. Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Basic math skills to read a ruler and calculate label dimensions for stock optimization.
• Ability to operate equipment and obtain proficiency as measured through production and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and machinery used for processes such as packaging, bindery, finishing and print production.
• Do setups, adjustments and cleanups.
• Operate equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery.
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, within quality guidelines and in a timely fashion.
