Upper Saucon Township seeks a skilled maintenance operator to keep township roads, grounds, and facilities in good repair. You will operate loaders, backhoes, dump trucks and other equipment, perform general labor, and ensure safety and compliance.

Applicants must have a valid PA CDL Class A and at least one year of equipment operation experience, plus ability to read and enforce ordinances. Certification in flagger and forklift within 6 months is expected.

Qualifications

• Valid PA CDL Class A.
• Minimum of one year of experience operating light to moderately heavy equipment.
• Ability to read, interpret, and enforce pertinent ordinances, policies, and instructions.

Responsabilités

• Operates light to moderately heavy and complex equipment such as loaders, backhoes and rollers.
• Performs manual labor and maintenance tasks for township streets, grounds and facilities.
• Locates and marks areas for safe digging and PA One Call.
• Repairs roadways and maintains drainage systems.
• Performs snow and ice control operations and drives snowplows.
