Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, through the Department of Human Services, is seeking an Equipment Operator A at the Selinsgrove Center. You will drive and operate mowers, trucks, buses, and related equipment to support grounds care, transportation, and maintenance.

The role offers full-time hours with rotating shifts and overtime opportunities. A valid PA CDL with air brake endorsement is required, with passenger endorsement to be obtained within 6 months of employment; PA residency is required.

Qualifications

• Six months' experience operating large vans, buses or trucks (GVW 10,001+).
• Or any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Operate mowers, trucks, buses, and power equipment to support facility needs
• Complete readiness inspections and report concerns
• Mow, trim, and clean lawns, walkways, parking areas, and service zones
• Load/unload supplies and perform general physical labor
• Plow snow, clear sidewalks, and assist during bad weather
• Use hand tools to complete assigned tasks
