Job summary

Milwaukee Tool in Byhalia, MS is seeking an Equipment Operator for the 6am–2pm shift. You will move product throughout the warehouse, operate forklifts, and support efficient shipping and receiving processes.

You will use reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment; require a high school diploma, basic math and computer skills, and at least 1 year forklift experience. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

• High School or GED diploma required.
• Experience in shipping and receiving preferred, automated DC experience a plus.
• Strong computer and math skills required.
• At least 1 year of forklift experience with specified equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive forklift to pull product and move to designated areas.
• Deliver product to overstock or shipping areas and replenish as needed.
• Stack and move pallets and wire baskets to correct destinations.
• Locate received product for forward picking or overstock locations.
• Ensure accurate paperwork accompanies carries.
• Operate wrap machine to secure pallets for shipment.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the area.

Equipment Operator: 6am - 2pm, Byhalia, MS

Your Role on Our Team:

The equipment operator is responsible for moving product throughout the warehouse.

You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

• Drives each forklift to assigned location to pull product
• Delivers product to designated area in overstock, to be replenished or shipped
• Stacks and moves empty pallets and wire baskets to correct destination
• Locates all received product to a forward picking bin or designated overstock location
• Ensures all carries receive the correct paperwork
• Operates wrap machine to secure pallets prior to shipment
• Responsible for overall organization and cleaning of area

The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:

• High School or GED diploma required
• Experience in shipping and receiving required (prefer experience in automated Distribution Center environment)
• Strong computer skills and math skills required
• At least 1 year of experience driving each forklift specified below.

Other TOOLS we prefer you to have:

• Experience driving a Reach Truck, Dock Stocker, Order Picker, and an Electric Pallet Jack.
