ReaderLink is hiring an Equipment Operator Level 3 for the day shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00am-2:30pm) to safely retrieve and replenish inventory, operate cherry picker and other powered equipment, and perform WMS transactions to keep picking locations stocked.

You will work in a fast-paced warehouse, meet productivity standards, and help ensure accurate, on-time outbound fulfillment while adhering to safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifikationen

• 1-2 years of experience operating powered industrial trucks in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Must pass ReaderLink Powered Industrial Truck Safety & Certification training to obtain license and recertify every three years.
• Basic computer skills with WMS, RF and scanning experience.

Job Title: EquipmentOperator Level 3 - Day Shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00am-2:30pm)

Department: Replenishment & Inventory Fulfillment (LDO)

Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

The Equipment Operator Level 3 is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely retrieval and replenishment of inventory to support outbound order fulfillment. This position operates specialized powered industrial equipment, including cherry picker/order picker equipment, to retrieve product from bulk storage, complete required WMS transactions, and transport and stock inventory in active picking locations. The position plays a critical role in maintaining time sensitive product availability for outbound production. Operators are expected to work efficiently, accurately, and safely while meeting established productivity standards and responding to replenishment priorities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely operate authorized cherry picker/order picker equipment and other assigned powered industrial equipment.
• Retrieve product from bulk storage locations according to replenishment assignments, system direction, and operational priorities.
• Perform case moves from bulk storage locations onto lift-platform pallets or other approved handling equipment.
• Complete required WMS transactions to document, validate, and confirm inventory movements.
• Verify product identity, quantity, source location, destination location, and transaction accuracy.
• Transport retrieved inventory to designated order fulfillment racking and active pick zones.
• Stock and replenish active picking locations to maintain product availability for outbound order fulfillment.
• Monitor replenishment priorities and respond promptly to inventory needs that could affect outbound production.
• Meet established moves-per-hour or other applicable productivity standards while maintaining required safety and accuracy levels.
• Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged product, equipment issues, inaccessible locations, and other conditions that may delay replenishment.
• Complete required equipment inspections and follow all powered industrial truck safety requirements.
• Maintain safe, organized, and efficient work areas.
• Follow WMS procedures, standard operating procedures, safety rules, and company policies.
• Perform other related warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in the safe and competent operation of powered industrial truck(s) in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to pass the ReaderLink Powered Industrial Truck Safety & Certification training course to obtain license and recertify every three years.
• Basic computer skills with WMS, RF and scanning experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in replenishment processes, WMS transactions, and operation of applicable powered industrial equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand up to 8 hours in a day.
• Must be able to sit up to 8 hours in a day.
• Must be able to walk up to an hour.
• Must be able to work at heights.
• Will occasionally climb.
• Will occasionally push/pull from 11-25 pounds.
• Will frequently bend, stoop, reach up and out, crouch, kneel, and push/pull from 36-50 pounds.
• Will frequently carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally carry up to 50 pounds.
• Will frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
• Will frequently have repetitive foot movement.
• Will frequently have repetitive hand/arm movements for simple reaching, simple and firm grasping and/or fine hand manipulation.
• Specific vision ability required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
• Regularly required to sit and stand; use hand to finger, handle or feel objects; and reach with hands and arms.
• Must be able to wear gloves.
• Must be able to wear required PPE including but not limited to fall protection harness.

Language Skills:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English.

Mathematical Skills:

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as, area circumference and volume.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Work Environment:

• The work performed is in a warehouse environment
• The employee is frequently exposed to vibrations and dust and will be working around moving machinery
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at low decibels
• Must be able to work in a fast paced, team environment

Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour
