Qualifications

• At least 1 year of steel saw cutting machine experience.
• Basic understanding of warehouse functions and equipment operation.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, orally and in writing.
• Ability to work in a team environment with others and show respect.
• Perform routine office support and understand written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate metal burning machine with gas and/or laser equipment to maintain uptime and part quality.
• Coordinate with crane operators, machine operators, and parts processors to reduce downtime.
• Review and verify batch tickets, work instructions, material specs, part numbers, revisions, thickness and grade.
• Verify heat numbers against certifications and follow documentation procedures.
• Perform first article inspections to confirm thickness and cut quality.
• Mark remnants for restocking with color code, heat number, thickness and REM number.
• Monitor operations to minimize material waste, maximize machine time and ensure proper equipment usage.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards.
